Christ Lutheran Church in Remsen Welcomes You!

Christ Lutheran Church, Remsen has a mission. Our mission is: To teach and preach the Gospel in truth and purity so by God's blessing the people of our community receive saving faith and produce a fellowship where Christ's love is reflected bringing others to faith.

We are a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and hold the entire Bible to the Word of God. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, and worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Christ Lutheran church is located on the southeast corner of 5th and Washington streets in Remsen.

Sunday worship at 9:00 am, coffee fellowship at 10:00 am, Sunday school for all ages at 10:30 am.

Christ is a teaching church
We offer classes for all ages in our Sunday School and at other times of the year special opportunities to study the Bible and other topics of interest.

Christ is a worshipping church
On Sundays and during Fall and Spring on Wednesdays we gather to praise God and receive His Word through preaching, prayer, music and Sacraments.

Christ is a friendly church
Besides our Sunday coffee fellowship there are many groups where all ages encourage, strengthen and build-up each other.

Christ is a caring church
We are a committed group of Christian caregivers who reach out to those in need at any time. Prayers are constantly being offered through the prayer chain, pastoral care for the elderly, the lonely, the sick and other needs brings comfort from God's love.
