Monday & Friday - 1 PM - 5 PM
Tuesday & Thursday 9 AM - 5 PM
Wednesday 9 AM - 8 PM

Public Fax and Copy Machines
The Remsen Library's copy machine and Fax machine are available for use by the public.

Copies can be made for 10 cents per side or 15 cents for legal sized sheets

Faxing is $1.00 per page for sending and 50 cents for incoming.

Two Computers are Available

Programs include word processing, games, and the Internet. A time limit may be set for usage, and you can reserve a time.

Cake Pans & Cookie Cutters
There a many sizes and shapes, and are available for check out at no charge.

The Remsen Library has activities for children year-round. Story Hours feature different guests and activities

The Summer Reading Program during the month of June is a fun and educational time for young readers and pre-readers. Activities, such as reading, crafts and entertaining programs are featured each week with a different theme each summer.

Automation Day has arrived!
In October of 2000 the library committed itself to the task of computerizing all if its library materials, records and functions. The target amount for funding this major project was reached through an Iowa Library grant for the Carver Charitable Trust along with a generous gift from the Remsen Utility Board, plus funds saved in the library computer account.

In April 2002, the Library was closed for two days for staff training and is now up and running on its new Winnnebago Spectrum automation system. The library is excited to offer ever more services and increase the ease of access to information for the Remsen Community.
